Our Call for Speakers

Thank you to everyone who submitted an expression of interest to speak at the upcoming Community Change Summit. We are currently reviewing applications and are grateful for the breadth of ideas, experiences, and perspectives shared. Applicants can expect to hear from us by mid-August.

The Summit will feature sessions including:

  • Case studies about initiatives that have been prototyped and then scaled or embedded into existing systems, organizational programs, or practices.

  • Tools for advocacy and movement building.

  • Sharing art connected with collective action – this could be through visual art, experiential art, or music.

  • Community leaders who have been involved in place-based collaborative work for more than 10 years, sharing lessons on sustaining community-based change.

  • Deep-dive workshops focused on building practical changemaking skills.

In addition to these featured sessions, all Summit participants will be invited to showcase a component of their work that they are proud of.

Tamarack is committed to elevating diverse voices and lived experience. We prioritize perspectives that are often underrepresented at conferences, including community leaders, Indigenous voices, people with lived experience, youth, and rural communities.

Honoraria will be discussed with selected speakers based on the nature of their contributions.
