As we navigate through these challenging times and try to find a some sense of normalcy in our lives, we begin to realize that community is the answer. One of the big spotlights that COVID has uncovered is that knowing your neighbour is the biggest predictor of surviving the pandemic. Tamer Solomon realized, long before the pandemic, that the world was so connected and yet still alone.
We invite you, alongside your friends, family or colleagues, to bring your popcorn, and join us for a showing of The Great Disconnect. This movie uncovers why, in a world seemingly more connected than ever before, people are feeling more and more socially isolated – and the true cost this has on our lives and communities. It was written, directed and produced by passionate people wanting to make a difference in the lives of those who live in their communities, neighborhoods and abroad.
