Radio and Broadcasting Student
I have a love for photography, videography and all things post-production. I am a 19-year old that is currently in college for radio and broadcasting in hopes to pursue a world of digital media. Currently, I am an intern for a logistics and marketing company in my home town.
I started in photography because I was inspired by the Youtuber Peter McKinnon. I love his work and get a lot of inspiration from him. I prefer to do nature photography but found that I do not have the trained eye for it so I don’t post the photos that often. I mainly post my portrait photos because they look better. I hope to at some point make a little money off of photography, but we will see what the world has in store for me.

I've always been interested in nature photography but it wasn't until recently that I started taking local photography more seriously. I try my best to tell a story with my photography while also capturing scenes familiar to others in the Chatham-Kent region. Our climate and landscape are changing and a lot of that can be seen through the camera lens.

Hi, I’m Daniel, a Canadian-based photographer and full-time graduate student. I discovered my passion for photography back in 2018. Since then, I’ve been focused primarily on shooting Astro (night sky), landscape, and adventure-style photos. My goal has always been to capture and showcase the landscape and its beautiful features. Photography is a way for me to escape from the busy city life and get out and enjoy nature and what it has to offer.

Growing up on Prince Edward Island, Anna spent most of her time either in a dance class or fooling around with film cameras. She always loved taking photos but it wasn't until enrolling in photography courses during her BFA in Contemporary Dance (Concordia University) that she fully embraced photography as an artistic medium she could sink her teeth into. Anna is not interested in creating perfectly posed moments or flawless photos for a curated grid. She's much more interested in capturing authentic images that evoke an immediate reaction or emotional response, aiming to spark gentle yet important internal conversations within the viewer.

I love exploring. I grew up doing it without a camera and always wished I had one to capture amazing moments so, in May 2018, I bought one! Now I work as a Photographer at a marketing agency and love it! My favourite feeling in the world is capturing an image that has a high VRIN score (V= Valuable, R= Rare, I= Inimitable, N= Non- substitutable).

I started taking portraits over three years ago when I found my mom’s old DSLR camera tucked away in our basement. It is safe to say I’ve been in love with portrait photography ever since. What draws me to portrait photography specifically is the ability to help people build their confidence. In a day and age where almost every one is influenced by society’s ever-changing beauty standards, many people have lots of insecurities about their physical appearance. I love that I can take photographs of someone who is not wearing fancy clothes or makeup and after I show them the final images, I get to see them realize they are beautiful and photogenic, without having to look like the Instagram models.

Landscape Photographer
I’m a landscape photographer that loves to travel. I started photography using my smartphone and have since become very passionate about photography as well as about the technical aspects of camera equipment. Currently, my favourite type of landscapes are mountains, canyons, and deserts, because of the way these landscapes project light during the golden hour, and I never miss a chance to do astrophotography whenever possible. A type of photography that I want to practice more often is wildlife photography, and I hope to do so in the coming year. Outside of landscape photography, my commercial work includes portraiture, events, and interior photography, with most of my commercial work coming from interior work. I have recently started my brand for travel photography, called Switchback Road Trips. My landscape images, as well as my commercial portfolios can be found on my website as well as my blog about travel and photography.
