About the workshop

Stories are essential to community change.  They resonate, are remembered, and are an effective way to engage people and help them understand the complexities on an issue.  Equally important is the fact that, when you share the story of your collaboration's impact you are sharing hope -- a tangible example that positive change is not only possible -- it's happening!

Stories are the fuel of collaborative action because they build empathy, foster shared understanding, and, can communicate a compelling case for change. Telling your collaboration’s impact story is a powerful way to contribute to the long-term sustainability of your shared work.

Earlier this year, Tamarack created the Developing your Collaboration Impact Story tool. It builds upon four key elements of successful collaborations – people, process, resources, and impact – outlined in 10: A Guide to Build a Sustainable and Resilient Collaboration which was released last year.

Join Sylvia and Sonja for this virtual 2.5-hour workshop that will guide you and fellow changemakers to begin crafting your collaboration’s own impact story.

Workshop Pre-Learning
